Driver Suffers Head Injury After Attempting To Break Into Truck

(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) in Leeds County, as well as Ambulance personnel were called to assist a male on Highway 401 in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township with a medical issue.

On the 7th of March 2017 at about 4:00 A.M. emergency personnel were called to assist a truck driver that had injured himself. The driver had locked himself out of his truck cab and then struck himself in the head while attempting to break a window to gain entry.

The 46 year old Quebec man was treated for his injury and released.

Alternatively, officers remind drivers that an auto locksmith should be able to gain entry and unlock your vehicle in a non-destructive manner in order to retrieve your keys.
