Another Motorcyclist Airlifted To Hospital

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Service Unit is continuing to investigate a serious collision involving a motorcycle in Cambridge.

On May 10, 2024, at approximately 2:25 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision involving a Nissan SUV and a motorcycle on King Street East.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 64-year-old Cambridge male, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Nissan, 58-year-old Kitchener male, was not injured.

King Street East between Westminster Drive and Waterloo Street was closed for the investigation and has since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
