Speeding Motorist Loses Vehicle and Licence
The Ontario Provincial Police, a County of Brant officer was conducting radar patrol on Brant County Road 18, on the Thursday July 25, 2013. At approximately 11:25 a.m. the officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. The officer clocked a 2007 GMC travelling over 115 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
The driver of the vehicle Nicholas NICHOLAS 33 years of age from the Chippewa’s of the Thames, First Nation, was charged under the legislation for Stunt Driving and his vehicle was seized for 7 days and he received a 7-day license suspension.
