Disturbance At Restaurant Results In Charges

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 21-year-old male after investigating a disturbance at a restaurant on Broad Street East in Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario.

On Tuesday December 6, 2016, at approximately 4:18 p.m., OPP responded to McDonalds Restaurant after receiving a report of a male who attended and caused damage to the property before leaving in a vehicle.

OPP investigation determined that the male had attended the restaurant and was refused service by staff as he had been previously served notice not to attend. The male became irate, yelling inside the restaurant, and while exiting, caused damage to the door and waste receptacle.

OPP has charged 21-year-old Bryan Teal of Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario with mischief under $5,000 and causing a disturbance.

He is to appear in Provincial Court in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
