(Madoc, ON) – On January 6, 2016 at 7:25 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a traffic complaint involving a possible impaired driver in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. Shortly thereafter officers stopped the vehicle travelling on Wellington Street in the Village of Madoc.
As a result of the investigation, the driver 49 year old David MARCH of Madoc, ON was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Driving With More Than 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood. He was also charged with Driving While Under Suspension, Driving Without Insurance and Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle.
He received a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Belleville on January 28, 2016.
