(Napanee, ON)- Officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police arrested a Napanee man in relation to an assault that occurred on January 13, 2016.
On Saturday, January 16, police were called to an apartment located on Dundas Street in relation to a complaint of trespassing. While at the doorway of an apartment officers could smell the odour of freshly burnt marihuana and noticed a small quantity of marihuana in plain view inside the apartment.
22 year-old Timothy NELSON was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for the earlier assault stemming from January 13.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on February 16.
