(LEAMINGTON, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members from Leamington received an anonymous call of a suspected impaired driver at approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 28, 2016. Patrols were made by detachment members but the vehicle was not located.
Approximately two hours later, police observed the suspect vehicle as earlier reported, a 2010 Dodge weaving on Lathrop Lane in Leamington.
OPP officers stopped the vehicle and the lone female occupant exhibited signs of impairment.
Carrie Lynn SHARROW, age 40 of Leamington was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content and will appear in a Leamington Court on August 18, 2016.
The OPP continue to encourage members of the public to contact police when they witness erratic driving on area roadways.
