William HILLIARD – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On June 4, 2016, at approximately 2:25 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of an erratic driver travelling northbound on Clarke Road.

Officers located the motor vehicle, a beige Jeep sport utility vehicle (SUV) on Stonehouse Line, and initiated a traffic stop. It was determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, 57-year-old William HILLIARD, from Middlesex Centre Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, and driving while disqualified – court order, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on June 28, 2016.
