Peter NISSEN – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH, ON) – On September 18, 2016 at approximately 12:53 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) was conducting a R.I.D.E. program at Highway 6 and College Avenue, Guelph. A man driving a 2012 Kia entered the program and spoke with police. Officers believed that he had consumed alcohol and a road side screening test was done which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

43-year-old Peter NISSEN of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 7, 2016. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
