(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Kirkland Lake OPP Crime Unit have charged a man with several criminal offences. The charges stem from an investigation into a person breaking in the Federal Tavern located on Day Street in Kirkland Lake. Once entry was gained the suspect stole Canadian currency.
Charged is Justin VOROS, age 23 of Kirkland Lake, with Break Enter a Place and Commit an Indictable Offence, Theft Under $5000 and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order. The incident occurred between 2:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on September 11, 2016.
The accused was remanded into custody pending bail hearing
