(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on patrol on 22 May 2016 at approximately 11:45 p.m. noticed a vehicle on Highway # 24 near Ellis Avenue and stopped the vehicle for a violation of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
Police determined through investigation that the driver had been drinking alcohol and the female driver was arrested.
OPP investigators have charged 26-year-old Jamie ROCCO of Norfolk County with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charge.
