James GAGNON – Methamphetamine

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On July 26, 2014 at approximately 10:40 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a 35 year old male that was walking on King Street in Palmerston, Town of Minto.

Investigation revealed that the male was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was placed under arrest. Police searched the male incident to arrest and located at small quantity of methamphetamine as well as a folding knife. Further investigation revealed that the male was on court ordered conditions not to possess any knives or non-prescribed drugs.

James GAGNON aged 35 of Drummond-North Elmsley Township has been charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance x2 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He was transported to a Wellington County Operation Centre and held for a bail hearing.
