The Halton Regional Police are investigating an assault that occurred on November 28th 2017, at Sam Sherratt Public School at 649 Laurier Avenue in Milton.
During the lunch hour a student was assaulted by an unknown suspect at the rear of the school property. The suspect uttered a racial slur and fled on foot. The student was not injured.
Uniform officers and the Canine Unit responded and conducted a thorough search of the area. Efforts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful. The school was placed in a hold and secure” during the investigation.
