(PETAWAWA, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Tina Chalk of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) concluded an investigation into an incident involving the offences of counselling to commit murder and uttering threats which occurred in the Petawawa area.
On Tuesday September 20, 2016 a 34-year-old female from Pembroke was arrested and charged with Counselling to Commit Murder and Uttering Threats. She was released from custody and will appear in court in Pembroke at a later date. The OPP will not identify the accused to protect the identity of the victim.
