Collision On Hwy 21 Sends Two To Hospital – 79 Year Old Charged

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On May 5, 2016 at 3:10 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Kincardine Avenue in the Municipality of Kincardine. Officers arrived with Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and Bruce Paramedic Services to find that a Red Chevrolet Venture was east bound when it struck a Black Lexus RX5 that was south bound on Highway 21. The driver of the Venture, a 79-year-old Kincardine woman, was charged with fail to yield to traffic on through highway. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
