Morris-Turnberry Man Facing Hit And Run, Drunk Driving and Drive While Suspended Charges

(WALKERTON, ON) – On May 8, 2016 at 9:06 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle collision on Yonge Street south in Walkerton. Officers located one of the involved vehicles, a Green GMC van, on Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. Once the van was stopped, officers determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Thirty-nine-year old Jordan BARTOSEK of Morris-Turnberry Township was charged with impaired driving, operate over 80 milligrams, fail to stop at scene, careless driving, drive with no insurance and drive while suspended. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 8, 2016 to answer to the charges.
