(ST. CLAIR TWP, ON) – On October 8, 2016 at approximately 8:30 a.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residential address on St. Clair Parkway, St. Clair Township to investigate a break, enter and theft.
Initial investigation revealed that four persons had entered a garage and the residence located on this property. The thieves had stolen, beer, food, sports equipment, bicycles and a wallet containing credit and debit cards.
Through additional investigation and with the assistance of the OPP Property Crimes Unit, the four culprits were identified and arrested. Through the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the four youths are required to attend the extra judicial measures program and pay approximately $300 in restitution.
The majority of the property has been recovered.
