(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male with impaired driving offences as a result of a vehicle stop on Highway 26 yesterday morning.
On October 16 2016 at approximately 2:15am, an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 26 near Grey Road 19 in The Blue Mountains. Interactions with the driver found that he was under the influence of alcohol which led to his arrest and transport to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charge is 24 year-old Jake William ALTILIO of Calgary Alberta, he is facing charges of driving while ability impaired by alcohol and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on November 10 2016.
