(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit along with the assistance of the Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Team, K9 Services and members of the Norfolk County Detachment executed a search warrant at a Norfolk County Road 60, South Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, December 12, 2013 at approximately 11:55 a.m., police attended the Norfolk County Road 60 address and executed a search warrant. As a result of the warrant a 52 year old male and 49 year old female were arrested for weapons and drug related offences.
Police seized drugs valued at approximately $174,000 dollars, firearms, ammunition, various packaging and equipment.
Charged with the following offences is 52 year old Darrell Grant HAZEN of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm X3
Unsafe storage of Firearm X3
Possession of a prohibited weapon – Shuriken
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession for the purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana
Possession for the purpose of Trafficking – Hashish
Produce a scheduled II substance – Hashish
Produce a scheduled II substance – Cannabis Oil
Charged with the following offences is 49 year old Tammy MCKILLEN of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm X3
Unsafe storage of Firearm X3
Possession of a prohibited weapon – Shuriken
Possession for the purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana
Possession for the purpose of Trafficking – Hashish
Produce a scheduled II substance – Hashish
Produce a scheduled II substance – Cannabis Oil
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
