(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members were called on November 2, 2016 at approximately 7:20 p.m. to attend a Beverly Street residence in the County of Brant, after a complaint was received that a youth had threatened another youth.
County of Brant OPP members attended the Beverly Street residence and conducted an investigation.
As a result of the investigation a 14-year-old whose name cannot be release under the Youth Criminal Justice Act has been charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada:
Uttering threats x 3
Assault
Failing to comply with a recognizance of bail x 2
He will appear in The Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges.
