Wingham Muskrat Festival Is Gone – Councillor Admits connie goodall Completely Useless

Just like the Blyth Witches Walk, the Wingham Muskrat Festival was canceled this year and is not expected to ever return under current conditions. It seems everything we pay connie goodall to look after fails and disappears. Despite her decreasing workload due to incompetence and her ever increasing failures, she gets raises and a bigger budget every year.

Wingham has been buried beneath an avalanche of senior management’s inadequacies. Wingham’s Muskrat Festival has been canceled due to the complete and utter failure of connie goodall, coupled with council’s unwillingness to enforce the Municipal Act and hold any of our senior management to account.

All that would have been needed to get volunteers to save the Muskrat Festival would have been to spend one minute typing up a simple PR and sending it to the media. It would have cost absolutely nothing, since that is exactly what we pay her to do. Dozens of people would have showed up and volunteered, but apparently connie and her assistant(s) were too busy. I would donate $100 to a local charity to be able to “job shadow” her on a random day to expose what a complete farce our Economic Development Department is.

Wingham is plagued with snobby elitists occupying committees that exclude 95% of those that want to help. The cause is always secondary, while gaining “prestige” for their exclusionary clique is their top priority. When the clique dies or gets bored, the cause dies too.

To ensure the general Public doesn’t show up to any committee meetings and ruin things, connie goodall had consistently refused to post meeting dates on the North Huron website, and to our knowledge has never issued a press release. NOTE: It took years of persistent battling, blogging and nagging through chicken nipple baily just to get council meeting dates posted on the NH website.

According to a North Huron Councillor, ‘Goodall is completely useless, and even her mother agrees’.

Isn’t it time Councillors stated in chambers what they have been saying to the Public for years about the state of our Economic Development Department?
