Wingham Copwatch Considering Phantom Drone Fleet To Monitor Police After Numerous Complaints & False Arrests

North Huron Reeve Neil Vincent recently admitted that council rubber stamps the Wingham police budget. That means council approves all Wingham police requests without question. That’s why the department has grown from 2 to 7 members over the last few years, and why they have 4 police vehicles to patrol the one square mile of Wingham. Wingham police are the main reason Wingham is the highest taxed town in Canada.

Wingham police body camera footage goes missing and their victims are denied access to any body camera footage that may exist. The Wingham police lie, and so do those that rubber stamp their budgets. The system is corrupt & there is zero accountability. This has been repeatedly proven.

The only way to defend our Community from the Wingham police is to constantly video record them via drone and dash cameras. You do have the legal Right to record the police in virtually all circumstances.

Drone Fleet:

A small fleet of Phantom drones would be able to monitor the Wingham police 24/7, provided there were enough volunteers to operate them. The Phantom drones are ready to fly out of the box, cost $500 – $1,000, return home automatically if signal is lost, fly 35km/hour, 30 minute flight time, automatically avoids obstacles, fly automatically to your waypoints, etc.

Dash Cameras:

Starting at $20 dash cams are an affordable way to monitor the police if you want to follow them around town.
