Union Gas has identified Auburn as a potential community to apply for funding under the provincial governments natural gas grant program. The grant application involves Union Gas conducting door-to-door surveys of potential customers in Auburn starting May 12th. In case you are contacted – this is not a hoax or an internet scam – this is a legitimate undertaking by Union Gas so they can complete grant applications to the province by the July 31, 2017 deadline. Here are some steps that Union Gas will take when conducting their research:
– Interviewers will identify themselves as being from FORUM Research conducting research on behalf of Union Gas.
– If there is no person home when interviewers visit the home, they will return at a later time. Surveys will be completed with a mix of weeknights and weekends. Those being surveyed can request to do the survey by phone if they are more comfortable.
– Union Gas’ target dates for the research are between May 12th – 28th (these dates may change slightly)
