On October 15, 2016, at 1:30 a.m., the Cambridge Fire Department and the Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to two separate fires on Myers Road in Cambridge. A vehicle was found to be on fire in the garage of a residence. Another fire was reported in the backyard of a nearby residence. The flames were put out and there were no injuries. The total damage to property is estimated at $25,000. The fires are considered suspicious and police are asking anyone with information to call 519-653-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
