A woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a fire broke out in a west-side apartment.
At approximately 2:50 PM the Owen Sound Police Service, Owen Sound Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to an apartment fire at 690-11th Street West. This building contains eight apartments, which had to be evacuated.
No one was injured in the fire which was contained to apartment #1. An investigation determined that the fire had been deliberately set.
Rhonna WOLFE, age 44 years of Owen Sound has been charged with arson endangering life. She has been held in custody for a bail hearing Wednesday morning.
