Members of the Guelph Police Service Drug Unit entered into a crystal methamphetamine trafficking investigation in August of 2014 as a result of community complaints about a drug house being supplied by a multijurisdictional drug trafficker.
On November 26, 2014, two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants were executed in the Willow Road/Dawson Road area of Guelph and Hwy 24 and Water Street area in Cambridge.
As a result of this investigation there were seven (7) arrested parties, receiving multiple charges, including twelve (12) CDSA charges and nine (9) CC charges.
Over fourty (40) grams of crystal methamphetamine, as well as quantities of MDMA, cocaine, marihuana and cash were seized. Other offence related items such as digital scales and debt lists were also seized.
