Marjorie Gamble – Drunk Driving

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Tuesday August 24, 2010 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Perth county OPP officers were notified of a south bound car on Hwy 23 north of Monkton that had struck a mailbox, entered a ditch and left the scene.

Officers located the vehicle shortly thereafter on Hwy. 23 north of Bornholm. The vehicle was pulled over by police and the female driver was spoken to. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. She was transported to the Perth county OPP Detachment in Sebringville where she provided two breath samples into the Intoxilyzer. Results of these breath tests were in excess of .80 mgs.

Marjorie Gamble (38) from West Elgin is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle having in excess of eighty milligrams of blood alcohol in one hundred millilitres of blood and with mischief under $5,000 She is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on October 4th 2010 to answer to these charges. She was also served notice of a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
