Kevin ERRINGTON – No Insurance

(SUDBURY, ON)- On November 28, 2016, members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar enforcement on Highway 69, in the City of Greater Sudbury.

A northbound pickup truck was observed to be travelling at a high rate of speed and police subsequently initiated a traffic stop.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that the vehicle being operated by the male driver had no insurance.

Kevin ERRINGTON, 29 years of age, from Sault-Ste-Marie, was charged with the following:

Operate motor vehicle without insurance, contrary to section 2(1)(a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act

Speeding, contrary to section 128 of the Highway Traffic Act

Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit, contrary to section 7(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act

The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on January 30, 2017.
