(LAKESHORE, ON) – On November 30, 2016 at approximately 5:45 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment were dispatched to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision (MVC) in the area of Notre Dame Street and West Belle River Road, in the Town of Lakeshore. The MVC was a head on collision that occurred in the eastbound lane on Notre Dame between a 2005 red Pontiac and a 2010 white Dodge Caravan.
When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that the driver of the red Pontiac exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested. No injuries were reported.
Katie GAUGHAN, age 28 of Lakeshore, Ontario will appear in a Windsor, Ontario court on January 3, 2017 to answer to charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol.
