(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On December 19, 2016, at approximately 2:08 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region (WR) Highway Safety Division (HSD) and the Middlesex County OPP located a motor vehicle stopped on the shoulder of Highway 401 eastbound, east of Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, in the City of London, Ontario.
Officers determined that the 32-year-old female driver had been drinking alcohol. She was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Jodi-Lynn CURRAN, from Chatham-Kent, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), and fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in court on January 30, 2017.
