On Monday, August 14 th , 2017, Owen Sound Police arrested and charged a 41-year old Owen Sound male following two separate instances of domestic related assault upon the same victim.
On August 12 th the couple became involved in an argument at their downtown residence. Getting out of hand, the accused is alleged to have spun the victim around by her arm and pushed her onto a bed, resulting in a bruise upon the victim’s leg.
A few hours later, On August 13 th they became involved in another argument in a public setting, resulting in the same person’s hand being swatted, striking her hand and knocking away her beverage.
The matter was reported to Owen Sound Police on August 14 th . As a result the alleged culprit has been arrest and charged with 2 counts of domestic related assault. He has been detained for a bail hearing which will occur on the morning of August 15 th .
