China Website Sells 10 Billion Dollars Of Merchandise In 24 Hours – China Friendly Numeric Domain Names Soar In Value

(DollarCrawler – Wingham, On) Alibaba/Aliexpress, online retailer in China has set a new world record by selling $10 Billion worth of merchandise in a 24 hour period. China’s economy is quickly moving online, much like the tech-rush of the 90’s in North America, creating thousands of new millionaires.

Numeric domain names are again setting new records, so have several classes of domains. If you were lucky enough to register a two character .com back in the 90’s, you could now sell it for 1,000,000 Chinese Yuan ($160,000 USD). Numeric domains are far more valuable, for example 01.com – 999.com are worth at least $1,000,000 USD, and ones containing lucky number are worth far, far more.

Four digit numeric domains are the next valuable (1000.com – 9999.com). A few years ago these domains were trading for as low as $30,0000. Of course if you registered one back in the 90’s you would only have about $400 invested in registrar fees. Some 4 digit numeric domains have been fetching over $150,000 USD this year, and ones with lucky numbers are fetching significantly more. A few NNNN.com (four digit numeric) have sold for as low as $50,000 USD this year by investors that apparently didn’t realize how hot the market is getting. By the end of 2016 you likely will never see a NNNN.com sell for under $100,000 USD again. If this trend continues, NNNN.com will hit a base value of $1,000,000 USD in 3-10 years. There are only 8,999 domains between 1000.com and 9999.com and they can only increase in value as China businesses flock to the internet.
