Charges Pending In Fatal Collsion – Name Of Deceased Released – Ashley KERR

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – The deceased has been identified as 29 year old Ashley Kerr from Chatham-Kent. At this time the investigation is still continuing into the cause of this fatal collision.

The deceased’s vehicle was a 2003 Silver Chevrolet Cavalier and the other vehicle involved was a 2001 Black Chevrolet Silverado.

The male party has since been released from hospital.

Longwoods road has been reopened to thru traffic between Davis St. and Dogwood road. Charges are pending the completion of this investigation.

The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on Longwoods road this morning around 6:40a.m. Two vehicles collided on the bend between Dogwood road and Davis St in Wardsville, ON.

London – Middlesex Paramedics attend the scene as well as St. Thomas – Elgin Paramedics. Local fire also attended the scene to assist. One driver was transported to hospital in serious condition. One driver was deceased at the scene. Next of kin notification is currently being conducted.

The OPP’s technical traffic collision investigators are currently on scene collecting information to piece together this fatal motor vehicle collision. As such Longwoods road between Dogwood road and Davis St will be closed to traffic.
