On January 27, 2010, Wingham Police Service executed a search warrant on an Alice Street residence in Wingham. In the residence police located methamphetamines, a prohibited weapon, a restricted firearm and ammunition.
A 24 year old Wingham man faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, possessing ammunition in contrary to a prohibition order.
The man will appear in Wingham Court on March 18th, 2010.
