On the evening of Saturday, August 8, 2009 both a 25 foot inflatable Horseshoe Lager beer bottle and a 20 foot inflatable Alberta Premium Rye bottle was taken off the property of the South Huron Recreation Centre, 94 Victoria Street East in Exeter during the Exeter Rodeo. The beer bottle was anonymously returned, so now the Alberta Premium Rye bottle is the only item outstanding. The cost to replace the outstanding article is in excess of $6,000.00.
The South Huron Recreation Centre is asking that the second item also be returned.
