Online Seller Mugged At Meeting

On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Edward Street and Johnston Avenue in Cambridge for a report of a robbery. The victim had arranged to sell items online via a buy and sell forum and met with unknown males in a public parking lot. One of the male subjects brandished a weapon and then fled the area on foot with the merchandise. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries. The first suspect has been described as male, black, early to mid-20s, approximately 6’0″ tall, with a thin build, black shoulder-length hair in braids. The race of the second suspect is unknown at this time; however, the male was described as being in his early to mid-20s, approximately 5’8″ tall, with a thin build, wearing dark clothing.
