Trespassing And Mischief At St.Marys Cement

(ST.MARYS, ON) – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a report of mischief at the St.Marys Cement property between the St.Mary’s Rotary Field and the GEXR railway line.

Investigation revealed that unknown persons trespassed onto the property and caused extensive damage to the interior as well as the contents of two large metal sea shipping containers. Electrical equipment stored inside the containers was damaged. The damage occurred sometime between October 10, 2016 and November 10, 2016.

The Perth County OPP wants to remind the public that the St.Marys Cement property is private property. Persons entering onto this property without permission could face possible arrest and charges. Parents should talk to their children about the importance of adhering to the Trespass to Property Act. By entering onto this property, persons could also expose themselves to dangerous health and safety situations.

Anyone having knowledge of persons responsible for the above mentioned mischief, or knowing the identity of persons who regularly trespass onto this property is urged to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
