Puppies Suffer Serious Injuries After Being Thrown From Moving Vehicle

(WEST ELGIN, ON) – On the 10th of November 2016 at 8:10p.m. the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted when a bystander saw an early 2000’s black, Ford Explorer, 4 doors pull up near their residence driveway and throw four Jack Russell puppies out of the moving vehicle. The residence is located between Mckillop Rd and Dunborough Rd on Talbot Line.

The puppies appeared to be around six to seven weeks old. Three of the puppies were said to be seriously injured. An unknown person pulled over in their vehicle when seeing the bystander in the ditch area looking for the puppies. The unknown person took the three puppies to an emergency veterinarian located in the city of London.

The suspect vehicle’s rims and lower panels were rusted and it has a loud muffler.
