In a heartbreaking FaceBook post it has been revealed that North Huron staff are still mistreating and neglecting our Community’s children at “Day Camps”. Apparently they have been treating our Children worse than they treat adults at Town Hall.
A hero parent has spoken out on FaceBook about this abuse and neglect. This triggered comments containing more reports of abuse and neglect that our Children have suffered at the hands of Town Staff at “Day Camps”. One child was reportedly grabbed by the neck by town staff, while others are pulled by the arm, yelled at, etc.
When these “Day Camps” are along the Maitland River our Children must be watched carefully. If these “Camp Leaders” paid as much attention to our Children as they do to their cell phones, our Children would be safe. Our Children should be their top priority, not playing on their cell phones while children run rampant due to no supervision.
Regardless of age, gender or political affiliation, EVERYONE is protected by our Constitution and Criminal Code. Everyone must be treated with the utmost respect from ALL town staff. Absolutely no one has the right to touch/assault you, your child or your property.
