3/4 Ton 2000 GMC Sierra Stolen From McIntosh Line – Red & Burgundy With Pin Stripes

(HOWICK, ON) – Officers from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment would like to once again remind residents to lock their vehicles when leaving them unattended. Furthermore, OPP investigators remind citizens to never leave your ignition key in an unattended vehicle. This reminder comes on the heels of another stolen pickup truck investigation for the Huron County OPP Detachment.

Investigators believe the truck was stolen sometime between 8:00 p.m. on July 22nd and 8:00 a.m. on July 23rd, 2016. Sometime during this 12-hour period those responsible entered onto a farm property located on McIntosh Line and found the unlocked farm truck with the keys in the ignition. The thief simply started up the truck and drove away undetected.

The stolen truck is described as a 2000 GMC Sierra, 2500, 3/4 ton, two-tone red & burgundy body with pin stripes. The truck is equipped with a red, 300L diesel tank in the back bed of the truck used for fueling farm equipment. The truck is valued at approximately $8,500.
