Man Charged With Causing A Disturbance
Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:54hrs Wingham Police Service was dispatched to a Josephine Street business regarding a young male who was causing a disturbance in the store.
The male entered the store and he appeared intoxicated, taking his clothes off, removing his belt from his pants and running up and down the aisles. As staff tried to help him, he became more agitated. The male left the store before police arrival but he was located a short time later at another business. The male was placed under arrest for causing a disturbance and during the arrest the male resisted. The male was transported to Wingham Police Service where he was lodged in cells to be held for a bail hearing. Once in the cells, he damaged the light fixture. The male was transported to Goderich for a bail hearing where he was remanded into custody. While being transported to the holding cell, the male damaged the interior of the police cruiser.
Kyle Greer, 22 of Wingham is charged with Causing a Disturbance, Resisting Arrest, two counts of Mischief under $5,000 and Breach of Probation. He was held in custody and is to appear in court in Goderich again on 12 January 2012.
