$83,000 Drug Bust, Nine Charged: Feddes, Stoll, Montgomery, Eyles, Dalton, Clarke, Conway, Edwards, Feddes

(Goderich, ON.) – On June 11th, 2009 members of the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Huron County Detachment, Western Region Emergency Response Team, K9 and Tactics and Rescue Unit, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant in the Municipality of Central Huron.

The search warrant was executed on a farm residence located on Cut Line Road, south of Goderich.

Police located various quantities of methamphetamine, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis hashish. Police also discovered an indoor cannabis marihuana grow. Police seized the illegal drugs worth an approximate street value of $83 000. Police also seized a quantity of Canadian Currency and a firearm.

Nine persons were arrested and charged as a result. They are as follows:

1/ Stephen FEDDES, 39yrs of Central Huron, is charged with production of cannabis marihuana, possession of methamphetamine and breach of probation,

2/ David STOLL, 44yrs of Central Huron, is charged with production of cannabis marihuana, possession of methamphetamine,

3/ Shannon MONTGOMERY, 24yrs of Central Huron, is charged with production of cannabis marihuana, possession of methamphetamine and breach of probation,

4/ Jason EYLES, 28yrs of West Grey, is charged with production of cannabis marihuana, possession of methamphetamine,

5/ Kristy-Lee DALTON, 22yrs of West Grey, is charged with production of cannabis marihuana, possession of methamphetamine,

6/ Tanya CLARKE, 33yrs of Goderich, is charged with careless use of a firearm,

7/ Gerald CONWAY, 39yrs of Central Huron, is charged with careless use of a firearm and possession of a weapon while prohibited

8/ Lief EDWARDS, 23yrs of Goderich, is charged with careless use of a firearm,

9/ Kenneth FEDDES, 35yrs of Central Huron, is charged with careless use of a firearm and possession of a weapon while prohibited, and fail to comply with an undertaking.

All nine persons were remanded into custody pending a bail hearing on the 15th of June 2009, at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Further arrests and charges are pending.
