(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Friday, November 27, 2015 at approximately 6:36 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a property on Grey Rd. 9 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands in response to an injured boy.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a seven year old boy injured his arm while operating an industrial style wood planer. The boy’s father was present when the mishap occurred.
The victim was transported to a Toronto hospital for medical attention after suffering a serious, life-altering injury.
The Children’s Aid Society was notified.
The Ministry of Labour attended and is investigating the incident.
