19 Year Old Wanted By Police For Assault With Weapon, Breach etc

(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted female, Shawna PETONOQUOT, age 19, of Saugeen First Nation. She is currently wanted on several warrants for: assault with a weapon, two counts of uttering threats, assault cause bodily harm, fail to comply with undertaking and fail to comply with probation. PETONOQUOT continues to pose a significant risk to the public and locating her is necessary for the purposes of apprehension.

The most recent incident occurred on November 23, 2015 at 5:54 p.m., when the Bruce Peninsula OPP received a call regarding an assault on a 43-year-old female victim, which occurred on Saugeen First Nation. Police investigation resulted in PETONOTQUOT being charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and with Uttering Threats (as above). Police were unable to locate PETONOQUOT, resulting in another warrant being issued.

If anyone observes the female or knows where she is currently hiding, please do not approach or make attempts to apprehend; call Police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
