Councillors get $1000/month for two council meetings. This means they make $300-$500/hour depending on how long the meetings go. Sadly councillors refuse to donate those 3-4 hours of their time a month, and continue stuff themselves at the taxpayer trough. They believe their time is too valuable to donate, and insist on charging the taxpayers to attend council meetings. If you doubt this in the slightest, ask any council member if they would continue to be a councillor if they no longer got paid for it.
So, what has trevor seip done for Wingham, other than tell everyone to stop expecting change or answers to their questions. “Struggling” seip couldn’t get through a meeting for the first year without saying “what i’m struggling with is…” every other sentence. A proud and/or oblivious declaration of his titanic ignorance and lack of competence.
Below is list few things that continue to go unaddressed in Wingham.

Winter Pedestrian Safety:
Should Town Staff clear sidewalks in Community Safety Zones, or dump snow on them?
NOTE: Community Safety Zones are around our schools and hospital.
