(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Tuesday June 25, 2013 shortly before midnight a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a pickup truck spinning its tires as it rounded the corner at Wallace Ave North and MacDonald Street.
The officer pulled over the red Dodge Ram pickup truck and while speaking to the driver, a 28 year old male from Morris-Turnberry Twp, the odour of an alcoholic beverage was noted on his breath. The driver was given a roadside breath test which registered a blood alcohol concentration between .05 and .08 He was subsequently issued a 3 day drivers licence suspension.
The driver was also charged with, fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle, and fail to have insurance card.
