Collision: 47 Year Old From Mount Forest Suffers Life-threating Injuries

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On March 1, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious, motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 18, east of Fergus. Initial reports indicated that a black Sport Utility Vehicle had left the roadway, and the driver was seriously injured.

Members of the Centre Wellington Fire Rescue and Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service responded. The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 47-year-old driver from Mount Forest, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Reconstructionist from the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) team are expect to have the roadway closed till dusk.
