(MUSKOKA LAKES TWP, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped and charged a driver on Muskoka Road 169 in Muskoka Lakes Township on Thursday, March 31, 2016 shortly after 11:00 a.m.
Police noticed the vehicle travelling on Muskoka Road 169 and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation, police have charged 52 year-old Gerald APPLEYARD of Huntsville with Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in his Blood CC 253(1)(b). The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 19, 2016 to answer to his charge.
The accused received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded.
