Wanted Man Found Passed Out On Lawn

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On May 16th, 2015 at approximately 2:00 a.m. members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police while on patrol observed a male who appeared passed out on the grass boulevard by the intersection of Main Street and Stonebridge Blvd. in the Town of Wasaga Beach.

An investigation into this male revealed that his ability to care for himself due to the consumption of alcohol was to the point that Police arrested him under the Liquor Licence Act for his safety.

A further investigation into this male Police discovered that he initially gave a false name and when OPP did determine his correct identity it was discovered that he was out on previous charges and wanted by another Police Service.

Charged with “Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking”, “Obstruct Peace Officer” and 2 counts of “Fail to comply with Recognizance” is a 25 year old male from Toronto, Ontario. First appearance was May 16th, 2015 in Bail Court. OPP have further charged this male with “Being Intoxicated in Public Place” under the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario.
