(RENFREW, ON) Crime Stoppers and the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) need your help to solve a suspicious fire.
The OPP is investigating after a fire destroyed a home in Renfrew on Monday, June 11, 2012. Police and Fire were dispatched to the house fire on Barr Street in Renfrew at 4:11am. The lone occupant of the home escaped the fire and was not injured. The home was destroyed by the fire, and the fire has been classified as suspicious.
The office of the Ontario Fire Marshall is assisting in the investigation into the cause of the fire. Detective Constable Sean Smith of the Renfrew OPP is leading the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
